FOR NSW RENTERS
Don't lose your bond to bad paperwork.
Evidence, letters and a tribunal-ready pack for NSW renters.
Sydney bonds average $2,000–$4,000 — money you handed over on day one. If a claim is made against yours, you have 14 days to dispute it. Disputes are usually won on evidence and paperwork — this is the paperwork, done properly.
Vault
Your evidence vault
A verifiable, timestamped record of your rental's condition — photos organised by room, private to you.
- Photograph each room — including the marks that were already there when you arrived.
- Every photo is recorded with the time our server received it and a fingerprint of the file.
- When you need it, export everything as one organised PDF pack.

Questions renters ask
How do I get my bond back in NSW?
When your tenancy ends, you can claim your bond yourself through Rental Bonds Online — you don't have to wait for your agent to act. If nobody disputes the claim within 14 days, NSW Fair Trading pays it out. If your landlord or agent makes a claim against your bond, you'll receive a Notice of Claim and have 14 days to dispute it at NCAT. Our bond recovery checklist covers the whole process step by step.
What's in the Bond Back Pack?
A personalised bond recovery letter for your agent or landlord, an evidence checklist matched to your situation, a Rental Bonds Online claim walkthrough, and an NCAT preparation guide covering forms, fees and deadlines. A person prepares it for your situation and emails it to you within 24 hours.
Is this legal advice?
No. BondShield provides information and document preparation only. For legal advice — especially if you're already in a dispute or facing eviction — contact the Tenants' Union of NSW, which gives independent advice to renters.
How quickly do I get my pack?
Within 24 hours of your order, by email. Each pack is prepared individually — it's not an automated download.
Can you guarantee I'll get my bond back?
No — no one can, and be cautious of anyone who says otherwise. Bond outcomes depend on your evidence, your tenancy and, if it gets there, the tribunal. What we provide is preparation: your side documented, well argued and properly lodged.
Does this work outside NSW?
Not yet. Bond rules, timeframes and tribunals differ by state, and half-right paperwork is worse than none. BondShield covers New South Wales only for now.
